Custom wood design
sanisio manufacture has been designing & producing personalized custom wood design for private spaces and public areas for more than 20 years.
We use olive wood and other Mediterranean sorts.
Design is adapted to the existing place and done in collaboration with clients, interior designers and architects.
Sculptures
…The idyll in the landscape and in the studio, a bunch of black gnarled roots from old olive trees in which still live insects, various machinery and tools covered with fine sawdust that machines form when extract from the olive the fine structure, shape, deprive and polish to a very thinned surface.
He studies the olive, from its natural shape he brings out forms and structures. The olive reveals him what form will have a bowl, jewellery, miniature nice and fine crosses and many other top quality designed artifacts that provide his existence…

sanisio manufactures sacral motifs and details for every home, such as Advent candle holders and crosses. From olive wood, oak or apricot they come in various sizes and can be hung on the wall.
You can find different interventions of personalized custom wood design in religious buildings around Istria. On this photo a beautiful olive wood seat laid on a stone bench. Corresponding arm and back rest 3 meters long are made from the same material. You can find it in the presbytery of a church in south Istria.
Our latest work was designed for and implemented in 2016 at Fazana’s main church of Sts. Cosmas & Damian.
