sanisio wood interior design is about unique products – designed by artist and handmade.
Like this coffee table made from more than 300-years old olive wood root. It’s not easy to find such old piece of wood and of good quality. Take this fact plus the one everything we do is handmade and you get no hyper-production. Each piece is unique.
Door handles are made on the principle of push & pull. It is also possible to include a metal ball as a part of the classical opening lock where the ball is rotating around its axis.
With certain objects we use metal for functionality, additional strength and stability.
Often as a detail we use metal globes that are coated in galvanic effects of old copper, chrome, gold, etc. Like for coat stands. Wooden hangers are attached to the body made from steel bars. Metal base and body provide stability.
Mirrors are designed from two stylized elements of wood that hold the mirror on top & bottom. This elements have a narrow slot, just enough to fit the mirror. They are attached to the wall with metal balls that have welded screws.

And finally – the handrail!
So far we have designed and implemented three of them. Custom made for private clients in houses near Pula and in enoteca at the Hotel-restaurant Milan in Pula. They were made from iroko and olive wood, connecting ground floor with one or two levels.
