All the material used in sanisio manufacture is autochthonous and grown around us, in south Istria. For years it has been absorbing the Mediterranean sun and salty air. We use only best quality local wooden materials.

Each sort of wood has its own qualities and characteristics, be it strength, colors or rings and patterns that give it a special charm. Usually, you can expect to find the most beautiful colors and patterns in old trees. We always try to get the best wooden material and most of it is few hundred years old. All the wooden material used in sanisio manufacture comes from the southern part of Istria, city of Pula and its surroundings. We are a small hand working production of wooden details for you and your home. In our work we don’t use heavy machinery, so all the material and quantities needed are acquired from or with the help of our neighbors and local people, thanks to their process of garden maintenance.
All the steps necessary in order to deliver quality handmade wooden decor details are done in our workshop in Fazana’s hinterland, just few minutes away from the coast. We do it all by ourselves, using just the basic tools for faster removal of the material. But, it’s not programmed, we need our hands to do it and they are our most important tool.
