We want to represent the unexpected beauty of Fazana’s breathtaking nature surrounding, its drywalls and olive yards.
Origin of the name sanisio comes from the native’s dialect for the early Christian church of Saint Elisée (San Eliseo). The surrounding atmosphere possesses perfect peace and harmony. It is in such an environment that products of equally unexpected and great artistic value are created. We make unique & handmade wooden art that is closely connected with all the natural elements. They are an endless source of inspiration.
The person behind the brand is Sasa Matjasic, sculptor and designer from Pula. Sasa’s works received numerous honors by both the audience and professionals. Taking care of our customers is equally important to us as the beauty and quality of our products. What excites us most is sharing all this magic with you. And that special moment when you feel the stunning tenderness of the wood.

sanisio is located in the south part of the Istrian peninsula (Croatia). Only 10 km from the city of Pula, largest Istrian city. Far enough from the traffic jams, Fazana is the starting point for a visit to the only national park in Istria – Brijuni archipelago. You will find us in the old town of this picturesque fishing village.
Fazana in its hinterland hides countless old olive groves and dry stone walls. An ideal destination, full of interesting history, sacral and cultural heritage with lot of interesting family events during summer.
